How the course runs

  1. Enrol and access the course online
    After booking, you'll receive instant access to the online learning platform. The course is organised into clear modules, start immediately and return at any time. No software to install and no fixed schedule to follow.

  2. Work through the modules at your own pace
    Each module covers a specific aspect of epilepsy, from understanding what epilepsy is and its causes, through to types, triggers, medications, and how to respond in a seizure situation. Most people complete the full course in one to three hours.

  3. Complete activities and assessments throughout
    As you work through each module, integrated activities and assessments reinforce your understanding. There's no separate exam to sit, assessment is built into the learning as you go.

  4. Receive your certificate on completion
    Once all modules and assessments are successfully completed, your certificate is issued automatically, valid for three years from the date of completion.

Assessed through practical demonstrations and knowledge checks throughout the course. Successful completion earns a certificate valid for 3 years, and the training can be recorded as part of your SSSC Continuous Professional Learning (CPL). Renew through further training when your certificate expires.
