Who is eligible?
You must be working in a management or senior role in health and social care in Scotland, with managerial support to undertake the qualification.
Is prior experience required?
Yes. This is a work-based qualification at an advanced level. You need to be in a management or senior role to generate the workplace evidence required.
How long does it take?
Most learners complete in 12–15 months, working flexibly around their role via the Learn Assistant e-portfolio.
How will I be assessed?
Through workplace observation, written assignments, and verbal discussions with your dedicated assessor. All submitted via the Learn Assistant e-portfolio.
Is SAAS funding available?
SAAS funding is available for eligible candidates earning £25,000 or less. Flexible payment plans are also available if you don’t qualify.
