CTC Online Booking Terms and Conditions

Please note that if your company has a National Account contract, alternative terms and conditions may apply.

  1. Payment terms
    Our standard payment terms are that payment is taken at time of booking online.
  2. Course bookings
    Bookings should be made online, via the CTC website.
  3. Transfers
    Should circumstances mean that you need to transfer to another CTC course, the following charges will apply,
    More than two weeks’ notice – no charge.
    Less than 10 working days’ notice given – 100% of the course fee.
  4. Cancellations
    Refunds will not be given for cancellations.
  5. Non-attendance
    If you do not attend a course, the full course fee remains payable.
  6. Late arrivals
    If you arrive late for a course, we reserve the right to refuse to accept you for training if we feel you will gain insufficient knowledge or skill in the time remaining. In all such cases, the full course fee remains payable.
  7. CTC Cancellation
    We reserve the right to cancel the training up to 5 days before it is due to be delivered if, by that time, we do not have sufficient students booked for the day. On occasion, unforeseen circumstances may require us to cancel a course. In such circumstances, you will be given as much notice as possible and either a free transfer to another course date or a full refund of fees paid. CTC will not be liable for any costs incurred by the client for such actions. We will, of course, arrange alternative dates to replace the cancelled days as soon as possible.
  8. Guidelines for students and employers
    It is the employer’s responsibility to ensure that students are free from any condition which would affect their capability to undertake their chosen course. We welcome students with disabilities but it remains their employer’s responsibility to ensure that they are appropriately supported in their workplace. CTC would welcome in advance, for setup purposes, notification of any assistance that a student is likely to need during the running of the course.
  9. Manual Handling and First Aid Guidelines
    During these training course student, will participate in client/casualty and object handling techniques, and will carry out a number of practical exercises. It is the employer’s responsibility to ensure students attending Manual Handling and First Aid courses wear the appropriate clothing and footwear. They will need to sign a statement on the day that they do not have or are receiving any treatment for a condition that may affect their ability to engage in such physical activity without risk of pain or injury. If students are unable to part in practical activities due to any health reasons, a certificate of attendance only will be issued for the course.
  10. Personal Footcare Courses
    Attendees must grow their toe nails in advance of this training and remove any nail polish before attending the course as practical assessment will take place. If attendees do not do this then assessments cannot take place and a certificate of attendance only will be issued, meaning the student will not have been assessed as being competent to provide toe nail cutting.
  11. Refreshments
    Unless otherwise notified, tea/coffee will be provided at the morning and afternoon breaks of all training sessions. Attendees are responsible for their own lunch arrangements.
  12. Data Protection
    All information that we hold concerning you/your employee will be held and processed by CTC strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998. Such data will be used by the organisation to administer our relationship with you. We reserve the right to share information with any awarding body. We will not, without your consent, supply your name and addresses to any third parties other than any awarding body necessary for qualification. As an individual, you have a right under the Data Protection Act 1998 to obtain information from us, including a description of the data that we hold on you. Should you have any queries concerning this right, please contact our CTC General Manager.
  13. Special Offers
    Any booking made prior to special offers do not qualify for the special offer
