CIEH Intermediate Certificate in First Aid at Work
The CIEH Intermediate Certificate in First Aid at Work is a three day course and gives learners the opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and understanding to enable them to provide initial appropriate care and management for life threatening conditions, minor illness and injuries.
Upon completion of this course you will be able to administer appropriate care and first aid, with an emphasis on life threatening conditions, illness and injuries in higher risk environments, until emergency help arrives.
Who is this course for?

· Those wanting to further develop skills and advance from the Foundation Certificate in First Aid at Wor
You will learn how to recognise, assess and administer first aid for a wide range of illnesses, incidents and injuries. Recognition of vital signs and being able to carry out an effective assessment for illnesses such as burns, sudden poisoning, heart attacks and stroke are a just a few of the areas that you will learn about.
This course should be delivered over three days with a minimum of 18 hours contact time. The first day needs to cover the Foundation Certificate in First Aid at Work as a prerequisite, whilst the remaining two days will consist of the Intermediate Certificate in First Aid.

When: Tuesday 21st November 9-4, Wednesday 22nd November and Friday 24th November 2017 9am—4pm
Attendees should dress appropriately to take part in practical activities. Attendees must stay for the full 6 hours in receive a certificate.
